The Anthropocene Lab is a research platform that promotes collaborative projects on the precarious state of the planet: climate change, the global ecological crisis, and the new geological epoch of the Anthropocene. Recent conversations on the new geological epoch of the Anthropocene, climate change, and the planetary ecological crisis have shown that the complex problems the Earth is facing can only be addressed by new forms of collaboration and innovative knowledge production. Work on the Anthropocene has demonstrated that unorthodox collaborations between the sciences, humanities, and the arts as well as the creative mixing of their methodologies are essential to address the impact of the Anthropocene on human and non-human communities around the world successfully.
